Hey guys, here’s chapter four of the rebirth of hope ^_^
Chapter 4: Destined duel! Kami Veemon vs Kami Patamon!
“TK we know how powerful KamiVeemon is, how do we fight him?” Patamon asked as he flew behind TK, the two had been revived recently to face Myotismon who was being revived.
“I wish I knew Patamon, but we gotta try” TK replied as he and Patamon arrived at the chapel which has emptied.
“I can’t believe Kari ran off with that brat” Davis said upset
“Yeah, and that Patamon, what’s the deal with her?” Veemon asked as he stopped as if he saw a ghost “ Davis………….ddddo you believe in ghosts?” he asked.
“Of course I do, well really evi…………………”Davis started to say but froze as he saw TK approach him with a angry glare” TTTTB??!?!??!?” he said in shock
“Yeah it’s me, and if you noticed Davis, your obsession with Kari just started a war with Myotismon” TK replied calmly
“Myotismon? Ah he’s no match for Veemon” Davis replied confidently
“Davis you baka, Veemon can’t beat him, even with his stolen evolutions he won’t last against Myotismon!” TK yelled
“So? Patamon can’t ether!” Davis shouted as TK glared at him “Now TB if you will excuse us, we have to find our girls” he said as he turns to leave
“No Davis, I won’t allow this to happen” TK replied as he grabs Davis from behind and throws him down. Patamon glared at Veemon and waited for him to make a move.
“Go TK!” Patamon shouted as Veemon glared at him. Just at that moment Kari, Gatomon, Hikaru, and White Patamon all rush up to see the fight between TK and Davis.
“TA your lucky KamiVeemon beat Kamibakamon! Or else everybody would have evil souls in them!” Davis shouted at TK
“ Davis the reason why we were captured by Kamibakamon was that you and Veemon drove us into despair! He took our souls and replaced them with evil ones! You took every advantage to kill me and Patamon so you can do with what you please to Kari and Gatomon!” TK replied as Davis glared at him
“TK you and Patamon probably would have surrendered!” Veemon shouted as Patamon smashes Veemon in the jaw hard with one punch. The dragon digimon gets up as he death glared Patamon “Oh that’s it Patamon! Your gonna feel what your evil self did!!!!” Veemon yelled as his rage builds as he glows
“Veemon Ancient Digivolve to!!!…………………………Kami Veemon!!!”
The huge armored dragon shouted as he withdrew a huge sword as he grins. Patamon on instinct he glows as the crest of hope does.
“Patamon Warp digivolve to!!!………………………….Seraphimon!!”
The great angel appeared once again as he and KamiVeemon are in fighting stance. “Veemon I will defeat you” Seraphimon said boldly as Kami Veemon started laughing.
“You can’t win against a digimon 5 times more powerful than a mega!” Kami Veemon said with a chuckle as Seraphimon charges him and attacks with a punch, Kami Veemon dodges it as he slams the hilt of his blade into Seraphimon’s back staggering the great angel. Kami Veemon then slams his knee into Seraphimon’s stomach as the angel falls.
“Alright Veemon! Finish him off!!” Davis shouted as Kami Veemon continued to toy with Seraphimon as he pummeled him. The angel’s helmet falls from his head as he slams into the ground, Kami Veemon in an act of desecration grabs Seraphimon’s helmet.
“Great angel of hope? Hah! More like a weakling of hope since you didn’t even put up a fight!” Kami Veemon shouted as he crushes Seraphimon’s helmet and dropping the remains to the ground.
“Patamon!” TK shouted as his damaged and sparking D-3 starts to shine “huh?” he said looking at it just as Kami Veemon started to charge his attack. Hikaru and White Patamon watched the fight unable to do a thing; Hikaru knew that this was TK’s fight and not hers at all. TK watched as he saw KamiVeemon’s attack being powered up, he watched helplessly as a memory flashed in his head, the memory of him as a child watching helplessly as Angemon sacrificed himself to beat Devimon. He could hear his child self-crying out to Patamon when he died and reformed into a digiegg. TK gripped his glowing D-3 digivice “No, I let him die once and again when Kamibakamon stole our bodies……………………not anymore…………………I won’t let Patamon die!” TK started to shout “You hear me Davis! I will not let Patamon be killed by Veemon!!!!!!!” TK yelled as his D-3 glows brightly as it changed color the cracks and damage on it seem to fade as the D-3 changed into the Golden D-3.
“The Golden D-3!” Gatomon shouted seeing it in TK’s hands “Kari! That Digivice! It’s meant for the holder of the evolutions!” Gatomon shouted as Hikaru and White Patamon both nodded.
“That’s right Gatomon, TK was meant for them, the Golden D-3 chose him, now it’s in Patamon’s hands” Hikaru replied as she and Kari watched with their digimon.
“Sorry TA but this has to be, Veemon end this!” Davis shouted as Kami Veemon nods.
“Burning Spirit!” Kami Veemon shouted as he slashes a fire wave from his sword at Seraphimon. TK raised the glowing Gold D-3 in the sky.
“Seraphimon! It’s time! Execute the new evolution!” TK shouted as his D-3 glows as a huge light shines on Seraphimon as he gets up as his body changes. Seraphimon reverts to Patamon then glows bright as all of Patamon’s evolutions appear behind and combined into one being.
“Patamon Supreme Digivolve to!!!!………………………………Kami Patamon!!!!!!
Kami Patamon appears in the sky as the Burning Spirit attack flies at him; in a single slash he destroys the attack as he wields a huge lance in his hands.
“WHA?!!?!?” Davis and Kami Veemon shouted at the same time shocked seeing another Kami Digimon standing infront of them.
“Impossible!!! How did that batpig digivolve with my evolutions?!?” Kami Veemon shouted confused and angry.
“Simple, they weren’t yours to begin with Veemon” KamiPatamon said calmly as he stood beside TK “Now Veemon you will face the true fury of the Angel of Hope!” he shouted as his Lance glows.
Seeing the huge glow the rest of the team rush in and see Kami Patamon and Kami Veemon. Everybody goes in shock at the site.
“What digimon is that??” Tai shouted as Izzy checked on the Digimon Analyzer.
“WOAH!!!!” Izzy shouted, “That digimon is Kami Patamon! He’s a level 5-mega digimon! He’s even stronger than Kami Veemon!” Izzy shouted as Matt smiled.
“I knew TK and Patamon had power but this is awesome!” Matt shouted. as he cheered for his brother.
“ No way! First TB comes back from the grave now his pig is over powering Veemon!? No! This can’t happen!” Davis shouted, as Kami Veemon gets ready to fight. Kami Patamon chuckles and also gets into fighting stance, as they get ready to fight it out now.
*BGM Hey Digimon plays in the background*
“Veemon you committed crimes against the great angels, the worst was infiltrating my palace and stealing my evolutions meant to stop Chaos Myotismon, and the worst of all, killing me and TK, You two bakas were really desperate to steal away Kari and Gatomon, now I will take back what you took from me!” Kami Patamon shouted as he swings his lance down right at Kami Veemon’s sword breaking the blade and causing the sword to explode into data.
“My sword!!!!” Kami Veemon shouted as he glares and rushes at Kami Patamon trying to slam his fists into him, Kami Patamon smirks as he throws his lance into the sky as he slams his fist into Kami Veemon’s stomach causing the armored dragon to stagger and drop to a knee. “This is impossible! How is it that batpig is stronger than me?!?” Kami Veemon shouts.
“You shamed the sacred evolutions, and dared to call yourselves digidestined and digimon” Kami Patamon shouted as he catches his lance.
“Veemon!” Davis shouted, “You can’t lose!” he shouted.
“Sorry Davis, It’s over,” TK said as he looked at Kami Patamon” Ready buddy?” he asked.
“I’m ready” Kami Patamon raised his lance up as it glows, the surge of energy flows in his staff “I’ll show you the true Kami power” Kami Patamon shouted as his lance glows brightly. “Shining Hope!” Kami Patamon shouted as he slashed his lance at Kami Veemon sending a energy wave at him knocking the dragon digimon to the ground and opening up a massive slash wound on him.
“No, How is this possible?!” Kami Veemon shouted as he gets up in pain.
“Simple, in your hands they became weak, in my hands they are at full power. Veemon it is over” Kami Patamon said as he sheath his lance.
“What??? Never!!!!!!” Kami Veemon shouted as he rushes at Kami Patamon as he tries to slam his knee into Kami Patamon’s back but the armored angel turns and thrusts his fist into Kami Veemon’s face sending him down.
“Veemon you are in no condition to fight” Kami Patamon said as he turned to TK now.
“You’re a coward Patamon!” Kami Veemon shouted “ a sniveling baby of a coward!” the injured dragon shouted as he gets up and glares. “If you had guts which you lack then fight me!!” Kami Veemon yelled as Kami Patamon stopped, the armored angel turns as he glared.
“I’ve had enough of you picking on me. “ Kami Patamon said. “I endured you putting me and TK down, even so far as to lie to Kari and Gatomon to turn them on us, that was your last mistake. Now prepare yourselves for your defeat! “ the armored angel shouted as his lance drew massive amounts of energy in it.
“TB! Call him off!” Davis shouted.
“Davis, Veemon asked for this for along time, now lets see if he can really handle this” TK replied.
“Kari, this is it! Kami Patamon’s finishing attack!” Gatomon shouted as the team braces for impact.
“Final Heaven!” Kami Patamon shouted as he dashed forward as he punches Kami Veemon hard stunning him, Kami Patamon turns as he holds his hand out, a huge wave of Holy energy fires from where he first stood as it slams Veemon hard sending him towards Kami Patamon who holds his Lance out as he charges to the energy as he slashes right into the wave causing a massive explosion of data as he lands on a knee with Veemon collapsed on the ground dedigivolved, in his hand he holds the scrolls which he loads into his body. Veemon struggled to get up but was badly wounded.
“Veemon!!!!!” Davis shouted “You gotta fight!” he said franticly.
“Davish………………….my body’s broken…………………….Patamon has beaten me……………” Veemon said in a weak voice as Davis rushes to the side of his fallen partner.
“I warned him, now he’s paid for his crimes by being stripped of the evolutions he stole from me” Kami Patamon said as he sheaths his lance and dedigivolves back into Patamon.
“No………………..this was supposed to be the greatest day in my life!” Davis shouted holding Veemon “I was going to marry Kari and she was gonna be mine, now it’s all gone! all of it!!! First that brat and her batpig break my wedding up then TB and his batpig come back and now Veemon’s dying!!” Davis said emotionally.
“Patamon warned him Davis. Now he’s paying the price for his crimes” TK replied as Patamon slumped down, Kari and Gatomon head over to TK and Patamon.
“TK that was incredible” Kari said to him “But how?” she asked.
“I felt this rage, something inside of me made that evolution come out to help Patamon” TK replied as best he could.
“I feel exhausted” Patamon said slumping a bit.
“ Patamon, I can’t believe you did that” Gatomon said still shocked
“You must hate me for doing that to your fiancée huh?” Patamon asked as Gatomon looked at him.
“Yeah, ever since the Kamibakamon incident everybody has turned on us. It’s time to move on” TK said as he and Patamon start to leave.
“Bro wait” Matt said as he rushes to TK. “Gabumon and I missed you two, so did Tai and Sora and the rest of the old team” he said to his brother “Mom missed you too, she felt she let you down, please reconsider your choice” Matt pleaded to TK.
“Matt, I’ll forgive you guys, just it hurt so much when you guys threw a party as if I was a thorn in your sides” TK said as he sighed
“TK that party was Davis’ idea” Tai replied “and I didn’t want part of it or anything he did” he said with a sigh.
“I should have known since none of you guys attended” TK replied as he looked at Davis in disgust
“Damn you TA! You ruined everything!!!” Davis shouted as a tear hits Veemon’s face
“Actually his appearance saved everything, “ Hikaru giggled as she said that, Gatomon after a while of silence looked at Patamon.
“I’m sorry” she said to him as she hugged him as she lets her emotion out “Patamon I missed you so much when you and TK left us” she cried out as she hugged Patamon tight.
“Ack! Gato! I need air!” Patamon struggled as Gatomon let him loose. Patamon took a few breaths and smiled “So I was right, you did miss me” he smiled and hugged her back.
“I did and Kari missed TK too” Gatomon said in a voice that had a mix of emotions in it. Kari nodded as she took TK’s hand.
“TK I missed you too, when Veemon and Davis had us I never forgot you “ Kari said with a smile
“It’s okay angel, now we are reunited again” TK smiled
“TL, take your hands off my fiancée!” Davis shouted as he walked to Kari as Veemon opened his eyes.
“Davish…………………it’s over, I lost………………..we both did” Veemon said with a weak smile.
“No Veemon! We haven’t lost yet, we gotta find something to beat TB and that pig” Davis said as he looked for anything to overpower Kami Patamon but he found none.” Damnit why does TB always get the cool stuff?!?” Davis shouted as he looked at the sky as Veemon flickered.
“Davish………………………..I’m sorry I failed…………………….”Veemon gasped his last and exploded into a stream of data. Davis shook his head not believing what he saw just now. He went numb for a few minutes.
“Man Veemon’s dead” Armadillomon said softly.
“Indeed, although he did commit crimes against the angels of hope and light, he did deserve a better way to go” Hawkmon said as well. Davis dropped to his knees and threw his goggles to the ground; they cracked on impact as he yelled
“ VEEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” he dropped to all fours as his tears streamed down his face “TB you will pay dearly for this! I swear it!!!” Davis shouted as he got up and ran off into the night uncaring for anything.
“Man he just won’t quit” TK said to himself as Kari held his hand.
“What about Chaos Myotismon? We still have to worry about him” Tai said as TK looked to him
“Relax, we have the means to defeat him now, we gotta wait till he appears” TK said as Hikaru looked at him and Kari.
“We have to prepare, first off we gotta make sure how to use the evolutions can be used to beat Chaos Myotismon” she said as she lead TK, Kari, and their digimon to a Digiport and into the palace of hope.
Wow what a battle and we have only begun, now the holders of hope and light are united and at the palace, and what did Davis mean by revenge? He wouldn’t?? Nah but lets find out next time on Digimon Digital Monsters
